About Mike
"My desire is to help others in their quest to communicate feelings in their photographs."
I like all types of photography but my passion is nature and landscape.
My technical background in photography was developed through working for various photography studios during my high school and college years and through various schools that I attended including, Crime Scene Photography & Surveillance Photography.
Crime Scene Photography is very technical and most crime scene shots are taken from eye level with the general idea of ‘walking’ a jury through the scene. In my police profession there was no room for “artsy images”. I have since spent the last 18 years looking at photography as a form of communication and have been working on capturing the “feeling” through composition and perspective.
My Gallery at Westbridge is a representation of some of my images that reflect my effort to capture ‘feelings’.
Sincerely, B. Michael Lehner
I am a former Police Officer/Crime Scene Photographer and recently worked for Cord Camera in their corporate offices as an Education Coordinator. My responsibilities at Cord Camera included writing ‘how to’ articles on photography for the Cord Camera E-News and the Cord Camera website, developing curriculum, teaching photography classes and hosting seminars and workshops involving nationally recognized photographers.
